Reading Group Reflections

I’m in a reading group with seven wonderful souls. Every Thursday we meet at one group member’s house, Randy’s, to discuss class readings.

I feel known in their presence.

We’ve been reading Martin Buber’s I and Thou for one of our classes, and I’ve been noticing how many Buberic moments I’ve been having, especially in that group. I don’t just experience these guys and gals. I am turning toward them and relating and experiencing God, the eternal Thou, through them.

How do you know God? I know God through people relating to me.
